Overpressure Protection Philosophy describes how to determine the scenario of the overpressure and how to calculate the worse case of the scenario that contribute to the overpressure of the pressure vessel. This philosophy needs to be understood to protect the pressure vessel in the process industry to avoid a catastrophic explosion.
