The Influence of Compensation and Work Environment to Employee Performance with Job Satisfaction as Intervening Variable at TRAC Astra Rent A Car Yogyakarta

This study is quantitative research and aimed to discover the influence of compensation and working environment towards employee performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at TRAC Astra Rent A Car Yogyakarta Branch. The sample of this research is the employees TRAC Astra Rent A Car Yogyakarta Branch as much as 58 respondents. The analysis tools are using multiple linear regression and path analysis with SPSS version 24.0. The results of this study show that (1) Compensation has a positive and significant impact towards job satisfaction, (2) Work environment has a positive and significant impact towards job satisfaction, (3) Compensation has a positive and significant impact towards employee performance, (4) Work environment has a positive and significant impact towards employee performance, (5) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant impact towards employee performance, (6) Compensation has significant influence toward employee performance with the job satisfaction as an intervening variable, (7) Work environment has no significant influence toward employee performance with the job satisfaction as an intervening variable.
